Organizing adults with serious medical conditions
Formed by some of the people who successfully fought off attacks on our health care in 2017, we’re organizing adults with serious medical conditions and health care activists across the country as a force for change. We are an independent grassroots group of health care advocates for affordable comprehensive health care, fighting the high cost of care in America, and making our health care system work better for all.
We offer free online media trainings for health care advocates, answer your health care & health insurance questions through our weekly Care Talk live streaming show and podcast, and much more. Our founder Laura Packard is a stage 4 cancer survivor and health care advocate in Alexandria, Virginia.
