Organizing adults with serious medical conditions
About Us
We’re an independent grassroots group of adults with serious medical conditions and health care activists across the country organizing to make health care in America more affordable and available for all.
We educate the public on health care issues, answer your health care & health insurance questions through our weekly Care Talk live streaming show and podcast, offer free online media trainings for health care advocates, and much more. Our founder Laura Packard is a stage 4 cancer survivor and health care advocate in Alexandria, Virginia.
