Employee Free Choice Act

CWA asked all presidential candidates the following question in the CWA candidate questionnaire:

We would like to hear specifically what you would do as president to lead the fight to get the Employee Free Choice Act past the hurdle of a Senate filibuster and onto your desk for signature.  We are happy to celebrate the passage of the minimum wage increase as part of appropriations legislation, and would ask if you would consider that or a similar approach to restoration of collective bargaining rights for American workers.
